| Step 5 Performing A Search With Travelaxe Back to top... |
- Now that you are able to log in, you can perform a search with Travelaxe.
- Select the Calendars button to set your travel dates.
- Select your location and the number of adults, children, beds, and rooms you need from the drop down menus.
- Travelaxe currently only searches for 1 room at time, as some websites don't have the ability to book multiple rooms, and we wouldn't want you to miss out on a great room rate. You will need to make multiple reservations if you want to book more than 1 room, and thus you will have multiple confirmation numbers.
- Click the Search button to begin your search.

|
| Step 6 Search Results Back to top... |
- As the search finds hotel rooms, the information will be displayed in the lower portion of the hotel rates tab.
- The Hotel column shows you the name of each hotel found. Clicking the column will sort the results in alphabetical order. Clicking again will sort it in the opposite direction.
- The Book It! column contains booking buttons for each hotel. When you click on a Book It! button you will be taken to the booking page for the hotel at the travel website with the lowest price for that hotel.
- The Rating column shows the class rating (1 star to 5 stars) of each hotel.
- The City column shows you the city each hotel is located in.
- The Distance column shows you the distance each hotel is from the center of the map.
- The Best Price column shows you the best price found for each hotel.
- The Savings Potential column shows you how much money you can save by using the cheapest travel website to book the room compared to the most expensive website.
- Each travel website has its own column where its results are displayed for each hotel.
- The cheapest price found will be highlighted in yellow.
- Click a hotel to see its details, including nightly charges, subtotal, taxes & fees, and total price, and a button to display the hotel's location on the map
- Note: The prices shown in the grid are total prices, with taxes and fees included. Some sites may add additional fees not included here.
|
| Step 7 Booking A Room Back to top... |
- When you find a hotel that you want to stay at, click the Book It! button for that hotel.
