Why do prices on the booking page sometimes not match the search results?
Some travel websites display only one rate for a multi-night stay (either lowest, highest or the first night's rate), but when you go to book the room, the website does an additional query to obtain all nights' rates. This is an issue that exists with several different websites, and it is not a problem with Travelaxe.
Some travel websites use different systems to display search results (which is where Travelaxe obtains
pricing information) than those used for their booking results. It is possible for these systems to get out of
sync. This is not a problem with Travelaxe.
One travel website, WorldRes, requires Travelaxe to get prices from their rate calendar pages, which list the rates per night. However, when you get to the booking page, the rates are not always the same.
Travelaxe is working on other ways to handle websites with these problems. A temporary solution is to use the website filter under the Options menu to turn off these travel websites.
